This is POWERFUL! I knew you were good. But this...

I'm suitably impressed.

Thank you so much!!

I wrote this from a buried and old lament in my soul, I'm really glad it hits!

Hello Eliseo,

I am not at all surprised to read this, about writing from deep within. Our internal struggles and strife, pain and fear, loss and love… These, at least for myself and so many poet friends I know, are sometimes the most powerful muses of all.

Your poetry was a pleasure to read.

Thank you!

I do think that darkness is cast upon us so we can be the light, and if just enough poets shine, then perhaps it wont be so dark after all.

Hello Eliseo, though this comment was from days ago, (I have been so behind in my comments) I want to still want to tell you that your words, these and the ones in your poem, are very wise. And I have always believed what you do about the power we possess as poets!

Thank you so much! Although I wouldn't call myself wise just yet, but it is something I aspire towards daily.

Don't make a monster and complain about the monster. Hehe. I love it.

I relate to this. I get it.

This gave the notion such a compact form, and I enjoyed the certainty in the narration’s knowing 👌 well done!

Thank you!

This one was all about building expectations in a way, I’m glad that it worked! 😄

Most definitely did! 😁

Same here sadly. I suppose if we have to be monsters by someone else's hand, then it's best to acknowledge our faults.
