yeah, dude. Don't worry, it's incurable, but treatable. I'm currently in remission after over a year of chemo. Hopefully that'll keep me sorted for a couple of years.
I have a lot of regrets. People, places, things, choices. You can't go backwards, only forward. We are the sum of all of the experiences of our lives--even the bad, but there's a silver lining to it. It taught you something and you might not know it for years, but there's a lesson in everything. I regret that I've hurt people and myself along the way, but I don't regret the lessons.
The lessons learned are the most important part of aging. Getting old on it’s own doesn’t make us wise, it only presents us with opportunities to get wiser.
If I could go back, I almost doubt that I would learn or even believe my future self, so the best thing I can do is go forwards better than yesterday.
